The NWH Group supports the children of Mayfield Primary

The NWH Group have donated £250 to Mayfield Primary School to enable a group of Primary 7 pupils to attend a residential camp in February.  

Chris Wilson, Principal at Mayfield Primary School, said: “This is a particularly large year group for us with two full classes hoping to attend. Further to this, the group of P7's have missed out on so many activities in their P5 and P6 years due to the impact of Covid. 

“We’re incredibly grateful to The NWH Group for its support. It makes the difference in ensuring each and every one of our pupils is able to attend this important development opportunity.”  

Nicola Williams, Head of Sales and Marketing at The NWH Group, added: “We’re delighted to be able to help the children at Mayfield School to attend this trip. As a family business, there are two things very high on our agenda – supporting young people to succeed and working to improve our local communities, so this donation ticks all the boxes.” 

Whilst the school subsidises the trip, there is still a shortfall, and as many families are battling with the cost-of-living crisis and financial hardship, it would not be possible to facilitate the trip without additional funds.
