Location: Glasgow, Transport Department
Salary: 50K (Dependant on Experience) OTE £60k

Are you ready to take the driver's seat in a dynamic and thriving environment? The NWH Group is looking for a Head of Service Delivery to lead our Transport Department in West of Scotland

Job Purpose: Maximise profitability and customer satisfaction through operational efficiency. Be the driving force behind success!

Main Job Activities:

  • Your objective is to optimise vehicle activity within our service areas, and you will aim to achieve this by coordinating with the Maintenance department to ensure a streamlined vehicle maintenance program.
  • Conduct driver recruitment, assessment, and provide continuous training.
  • Implement driver induction training and develop engaging ongoing training plans.
  • Stay updated with relevant legislation and seamlessly implement new regulations.
  • Monitor vehicle performance to ensure optimal efficiency.
  • Adhere to Company Policies and Procedures, including Health & Safety, Road Risk, Discipline & Grievance.
  • Manage the Tracker System and maintain comprehensive training records for our skilled drivers.
  • Assume accountability for the efficient delivery of regional trade waste services.

What we need from you:

  • Possess a valid Transport Manager CPC License
  • Demonstrate extensive geographical knowledge of local areas.
  • Proficient in handling Tachograph and effectively managing driver hours.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills.
  • Maintain a positive attitude in all professional interactions.
  • Display professionalism in all aspects of work.
  • Possess good knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance.
  • Prior completion of Health and Safety Training
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Road Legislation
