Scott Direct appoints NWH to support its carbon reduction plans

The NWH Group has been appointed by the industrial and safety supplies business, Scott Direct, to provide a full range of recycling and waste management services for its central Scotland sites.

The waste recycler will work with Scott Direct to support its plans to reduce its carbon footprint through resource recovery.

Rob Sayles, Managing Director at Scott Direct, said:

We’re confident that The NWH Group has the experience and capabilities to best support our waste management needs, and we’re looking forward to working together to reduce our carbon footprint.”

The NWH Group will be collecting and recycling plastic and cardboard, general waste, food, confidential office waste, as well as batteries and fluorescent bulbs.

Additionally, NWH will also be supporting Scott Direct’s sister company Seahawk Apparel which manufactures specialist protective clothing and workwear, by providing a recycling service for its textile offcuts.
