NWH bolsters operations board to accelerate recovery post COVID-19

NWH Group, marks a return to work with the news of two key appointments to our operations board. Tomas Roberton, joins in the new role of Chief Technology Officer, along with Andrew Baker, our Head of Commercial Finance, who joins to help accelerate the recovery of the business post lockdown.

The appointment of Tomas Roberton marks the start of a digital transformation that will see us implement a variety of new technologies that enable the business to trade effectively whilst abiding by social distancing guidelines. This includes the role out of a customer App, which has been designed and developed in-house, as well as a no contact, automated customer on-boarding system.

We have also deployed a number of digital sales and marketing tools to drive efficient lead generation; and further work includes the integration of existing software systems which will enable much more efficient delivery of services in a socially distant world.

Mark Williams, CEO at NWH Group, said: “The coronavirus pandemic has led to seriously challenging times, and we’ve all had to adapt to new ways of working. As we get our business back up and running, we need to look forward positively and find new opportunities. As a result, we are investing in technology that will really help underpin our robustness, digitally transforming the business, eliminating paperwork and vastly increasing efficiencies – providing our customers with a seamless process.”

Andrew Baker was appointed as our Head of Commercial Finance last year to develop the effectiveness of Group-wide commercial data and processes, to enhance operations, and challenge and support investment decisions. His appointment to the operations board comes at a critical time.

Mark added: “We’re delighted to have Tom and Andy join the operations board. Their knowledge and experience will undoubtedly support the business through the challenging times ahead, to ensure we are in the strongest possible position to support our customers. Welcome to the team!”
