NWH appoints Chief Operating Officer

The NWH Group, one of the UK’s leading recycling companies, has appointed Gavin Money as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). He will join the business at the end of September 2023.

Gavin comes to NWH from Biffa where he has garnered an impressive wealth of industry experience. Prior to this, Gavin has held several senior executive roles supporting the development and growth of businesses and their teams across a range of industry sectors. Gavin brings with him strong commercial skills supported by operational insight in engineering and resource management environments.

Gavin’s appointment supports the strategic direction of the business and complements the resources available to the CEO Mark Williams as the Group readies itself for the launch the 2024-2027 Strategic Plan.

Mark Williams, Chief Executive at The NWH Group, said: “What makes Gavin the correct fit for our business is not only his expertise within our field but his valuable experience from other industries, which will bring a fresh perspective to our operations. With his unique insights, Gavin will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our company.”

“This is an exciting journey, and we’re looking forward to Gavin joining the team and being part of it.”

Working closely with the NWH’s operational lead, Group General Manager, Dougie Neill, Gavin will be responsible for both the sales and operations teams, overseeing their strategic direction and growth.

To further bolster the senior team and complement Gavin's arrival, NWH is also recruiting for a commercial sales manager. This crucial role will be responsible for leading the new business sales team and will report directly to Gavin.
