Role: Machine Operator

Rate of Pay: Hourly Rate Dependent on Experience

We are looking for an 360 Excavator Driver and A Wheeled / tracked Loading Shovel Driver to work at our Depot.

What will you be responsible for?

  • Maintain a high level of safe working across the site.
  • Loading material into various vehicles Fixed Plant / Shredders / Trommel
  • Pre-picking waste
  • Good general daily housekeeping of the site
  • Carrying out daily safety, greasing, and maintenance checks and documenting as per company procedures
  • Checking and re-filling fuel and oil daily
  • Effective Communication to other vehicle operators at sites to ensure safe and efficient working environment
  • Loading plant as the optimal rate
  • Ensure machinery and cabins are locked at end of shifts.
  • Complete any other reasonable tasks or requests as required.
  • Ensure breakdowns are reported to line manager in accordance with the site escalation process.
