Role: Loading Shovel Operator 

Location: NWH Group, Head Office

Hours: Minimum 40 hours per week

Rate of Pay: Depending on Experience

What Will You Be Doing?

As a Loading Shovel Operator, you will play a key role in our operations by:

  • Operating the loading shovel safely and efficiently across the yard and wash plant
  • Loading and moving materials in line with production requirements
  • Feeding material into the wash plant to maintain throughput targets
  • Completing daily plant checks and reporting defects promptly
  • Keeping accurate records of inspections and maintenance logs
  • Following all health & safety procedures and environmental controls
  • Supporting housekeeping and keeping the yard clean and organised
  • Working collaboratively with the site team to meet operational KPIs

What Are We Looking For?

  • A valid Loading Shovel ticket (CPCS or NPORS)
  • Experience operating heavy plant machinery
  • Strong awareness of Health & Safety legislation and safe working practices
  • Previous experience in waste, recycling, quarry or similar environments
  • A reliable, proactive and safety focused attitude
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
