The Role

We’re looking for a skilled Wheeled Loading Shovel / 360 Excavator Grab Operator to join our dedicated operations team. In this hands-on role, you’ll play a vital part in keeping our recycling yard safe, efficient, and well-organised, ensuring materials are moved, sorted, and loaded with precision and care.

You’ll take pride in maintaining a tidy working environment and upholding the highest safety standards while supporting our mission to divert waste from landfill and maximise recycling.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate wheeled loading shovels and 360 excavators safely and efficiently

  • Load and unload plant and vehicles in line with site operations

  • Carry out daily maintenance, greasing, and safety checks

  • Refuel and top up oil as required

  • Support presorting and movement of material for recycling

  • Maintain clear communication with site colleagues to ensure safe operations

  • Keep the yard clean, tidy, and compliant with company safety standards


What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Proven experience in operating plant machinery

  • A strong focus on safety, teamwork, and efficiency

  • Positive, can-do attitude and reliability

Desirable:

  • Experience using demolition grabs

  • Prior experience in a recycling or waste management environment

  • Valid CPCS or NPORS card (Wheeled Shovel / 360 Excavator)
