Personal Assistant

Role: Personal Assistant  

Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (with some flexibility required)

Location: Head Office, Mayfield

About The Role

We are looking for a highly organised and professional Personal Assistant to provide executive support to our Managing Director. This is a pivotal role that ensures the smooth day-to-day running of the MD’s office, enabling them to focus on strategic business priorities.

You will be the first point of contact for all communications, coordinate meetings and travel, and prepare important documents and reports for Board and senior management meetings.

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our leadership team and make a real difference in the success of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the MD’s diary, prioritising and scheduling meetings effectively
  • Act as the first point of contact for all internal and external communications
  • Prepare agendas, reports, and presentations for Board and management meetings
  • Coordinate travel, accommodation, and itineraries
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Track deadlines, follow up on actions, and ensure completion
  • Prepare expense claims, purchase orders, and other admin documentation
  • Support the MD research, and data collation
  • Liaise with other members of the Executive Team and Board as required
  • Plan and coordinate key business events

What We’re Looking For

  • Detail-orientated with excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Professional when dealing with confidential or sensitive information
  • A confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
  • Calm, composed, and able to manage competing demands and work under pressure
  • Proactive with a “get up and go” attitude - able to make things happen
  • Comfortable working with senior leaders and liaising across all levels of the business
  • Proficient in IT (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience supporting Board-level executives, taking minutes, and coordinating events (Desirable)
  • Business Administration or PA welcome (transferable skills also welcomed)
  • A valid driving licence is required, as occasional travel to other depots may be necessary
