Role: HGV Driver- Skips and Hook

Location: Newcastle

Rate of Pay: £14.04 per hour with overtime after 8 hours

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Safely operate skip and hook vehicles to collect and deliver waste containers

  • Ensure compliance with all road safety and environmental regulations

  • Carry out routine vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues

  • Provide excellent customer service at collection and delivery points

  • Complete all required documentation accurately and on time

What Are We Looking For?

  • A valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence

  • CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card

  • Previous experience operating skip or hook vehicles is desirable but not essential

  • Strong understanding of health and safety requirements

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence
