About The Role

We are recruiting for an experienced HGV- Fueller to join our Garage team. This is a key role, ensuring that all NWH vehicles - and those of our customers - are safe, compliant, and ready for the road.

This role will be based at our Head Office and reports to the Garage Manager or Workshop Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing and rectifying all types of tyre defects
  • Refuelling vehicles safely and diligently
  • Inspecting tyres each time vehicles return to the workshop
  • Ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed accurately and promptly
  • Maintaining workshop cleanliness and housekeeping standards
  • Using specialist tools in line with Health & Safety guidelines
  • Always demonstrating a proactive approach to safety and PPE compliance

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role (Desirable)
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • A strong team player with a can-do attitude
  • Awareness of Health & Safety regulations
  • HGV Class 2 licence (Desirable)
  • Experience of working with HGV or specialist vehicles (Desirable)
