Role: Class 2 HGV Driver- Grabs

Location: Head Office, Mayfield 

Hours: 40-50 hours per week with overtime options available

Rate of Pay: £15.98 per hour

Overtime Rate of Pay: £23.97 per hour

What Will You Be Doing?

As a Class 2 HGV Grab Driver, you will play a key role in our operations by

  • Safely operating a grab lorry on scheduled collection and delivery routes

  • Using the vehicle’s hydraulic grab to load and remove waste and materials

  • Transporting aggregates, soil, and construction waste to and from sites

  • Conducting daily vehicle and equipment safety checks and reporting defects

  • Following all road safety legislation and company policies

  • Delivering excellent customer service on construction and commercial sites

What Are We Looking For?

  • A full, valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence.​

  • No more than 6 points on your licence

  • Valid CPC and Digital Tacho Card.​

  • Experience operating a grab lorry is preferred

  • HIAB or grab certification

  • A great attitude and commitment to performing the job to the highest standard.
