Role: Class 2 HGV Driver- Skip, Hook and Trade Waste

Location: Dumfries

Rate of Pay: £14.04 per hour

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Operate Class 2 HGVs equipped for skip hook and trade waste collection.

  • Manage safe loading, unloading, and hooking of skips across various customer sites.

  • Transport trade waste on pre-planned routes while maintaining schedules.

  • Conduct vehicle and equipment checks; report issues promptly.

  • Deliver excellent customer service, building trust with site contacts.

  • Work both independently and as part of a collaborative, safety-conscious team.

What Are We Looking For?

  • A full, valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence.​

  • No more than 6 points on your licence

  • Valid CPC and Digital Tacho Card.​

  • A great attitude and commitment to performing the job to the highest standard.​

  • Previous waste/recycling driving experience is preferred, but not essential -we provide comprehensive training.​
