New Business Customer Acquisition Team Leader, Dalkeith

On this journey to eliminate waste we provide waste collection services to the Commercial & Industrial, Office, Leisure & Retail and Construction industries. Collecting waste with our fleet of Trade Refuse, Skip, Tipper, Grab and Walking Floor articulated vehicles, we transport materials to our material recycling facilities where we produce and recover valuable products such as metals, cardboard, paper, washed sands, biomass for energy and animal bedding.

We are now looking for a highly motivated, capable, and experienced Customer Acquisition Team Leader to join our newly established customer acquisition team at our Head Office located in Dalkeith, Midlothian. This is a full-time position based on a 40-hour working week and will pay a salary of £22,000 - £25,000 per annum dependant on experience, there will be opportunities for on target earnings to be increased following an initial 6-month period.

Due to the location of our Head Office, a driver would be preferred.

The purpose of this new team is to provide all inbound sales enquiries with a seamless transaction from start to finish. A fast paced, forward thinking new customer focused team with a keen eye for detail, will deal with all inbound new sales enquiries from a variety of customers all with bespoke requirements. This team also provides our Business Development Managers with sales support to ensure the full team is 100% focused on driving new sales into the business. With ambitious growth targets the NWH Group are looking to recruit likeminded driven, strategic thinking leaders.

Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will lead a team of two Customer Acquisition Executives to deliver the business organic growth through its sales strategy. You will be responsible for the ongoing development of the team and for delivering sales reporting to the Head of Sales. You will work with the Head of Sales to make monthly plans for your teams sales objectives and reporting monthly on the success of the same.

Main Duties of the Customer Acquisition Team Leader:

-          Team Development and Support

-          Employee appraisals

-          Sales advice and training

-          Pro-active use of technology to drive efficiencies

-          Lead communication with the Marketing and Sales functions

-          Be responsible for the Customer Acquisition Team KPI delivery

The ideal Customer Acquisition Team Leader will:

-          Have at least 2 years’ experience in a managerial or leadership position

-          Be able to demonstrate strong sales performance

-          Excellent communication and customer service skills

-          Be technology and efficiency focused

-          Be extremely well organised

-          Previous experience in the Waste and Recycling Industry would be advantageous

-          Microsoft Office 365 and Dynamics CRM system experience would be advantageous
