On our mission to eliminate waste we provide waste collection services to the Leisure, Retail and construction industries. Collecting waste with our fleet of Trade Refuse, Skip, Tipper, Grab and Walking Floor articulated vehicles, transporting materials to our Material recycling facilities where we produce a valuable product such as cardboard, Paper, Washed sands, Biomass for energy and animal bedding.

The business is now primed for the next phase of growth following strong trading performances and we are recruiting to increase our team to deliver this vision.

We are now recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor to join our growing and dedicated Order Processing Customer Support function, based at our head office in Dalkeith, Midlothian. The Customer Service Advisor role serves as the first point of contact to the Waste Services customers of NWH; therefore, a passion for excellent customer service is essential, acting as an ambassador to the organisation.

This is a full-time position with on average, 40 hours per week. This position will pay a salary of £19,000 - £22,000 per annum dependent upon experience.

Although training will be provided, a knowledge of the waste and/or construction industry will be an advantage.

Due to the location of our head office, the ability to drive and access to your own vehicle would be beneficial.

-          Proactively manage high volumes of calls and orders

-          Skilful and analytic approach with invoice queries

-          Accurately create, record and schedule orders/services, onto bespoke IT systems

-          Passionately promote the company’s services and support the Sales function

-          Sophisticated and vibrant approach to change and constructive feedback

-          Mature and self-determined, approach to work
